The internal max cast system allows long accurate casts and also ensures that the lure swims in a natural balanced manner. The natural finish gives a realistic look and a straight retrieve imparts the classic wobbling Rapala fleeing baitfish action. For a change retrieve add in some sharp rod tip movement to give the lure an erratic darting action. The lure also suspends on the pause so occasionally stopping the retrieve is a good way to induce a take, either whilst the lure is stationary or as soon as you move it again.
